Dear Mr. John Krueger and Mrs. Karen Gaurke,
We are sorry for your loss.
Thank you for allowing us come to your Funeral Home last week.
We learned much from you about feeling more comfortable going to a funeral and visitation and what we might say. We are sorry that you are the first people that we can share this with.
From what you showed us, we are curious, why you chose the casket that was used for your father and grandfather. You put much thought into that.
Our thank you to you for all you do in your work to help people in their sorrow. Now it is our turn to give our sympathy, concern, prayers, and support to you and your family.

So sorry to hear about your dad. I remember as "kids" I called you Emil. One time you and your dad were on ladders working on those old garages behind your house and I called out, "Hi Emil!" You had a screwy look on your face and your dad just smiled. Dumb kids have a way of putting their feet into their mouths!!

Truly professional, dignified, a gentleman, and a servant and care-give to all!
What a great example! He gave, taught and showed the meaning of love.
This has been so much and so fast with your parents/grandparents facing the reality and need to move out of their house, the journey of finding the right place for them, the decisions of going on hospice, and the death of both Jane & Emil so close together.
That is truly a tribute to their closeness. It is a great gift to have had both of them so long. But what a hole, how impossible to grasp this all.
Our prayers are with all of you as you mourn and celebrate! Know how deeply we mourn the loss with you and how much we celebrate with you the gift your Dad was for this entire community.
