Otto Jon Yirkovsky, 73, a long time Tomahawk resident, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 in Kenosha. Otto was born in Tomahawk on November 15, 1947 to Otto Charles and Marie Agnes Augusta Yirkovsky. He was formerly married to Donna Hudson. They had two children together, Zachary Otto and Kelley Marie. Otto was a well-known mason in the area and had worked for Johnson Brothers and Charlie Mielke. He had served in the National Guard and enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cribbage, and had been a member of the Kwahamots. Survivors include his son, Zach (Jill) Yirkovsky of Elmhurst, Il; a sister, Lois Matthiesen of Milwaukee; a brother, Wayne Harris of Colorado; and 3 grandchildren, Lucy, Lyla, and Drew. Otto was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Kelley, and sister, Ada Benda. Because of Covid 19 restrictions there will be no services at this time. A Celebration of Otto’s life is being planned for the summer of 2021. Krueger Family Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family.
