Obituary of Lorraine E. Crass

Lorraine Crass, age 85, of Irma, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, May 21, 2019.

Lorraine was born on April 4, 1934 in Milwaukee to Charles & Catherine (Metz) Meyer. She was married to James L. Crass on August 20, 1955 in Milwaukee; together they have two children. Lorraine loved watching the Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Packers. She enjoyed shopping trips and cherished her time spent with her family. Lorraine & Jim are members of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Lorraine is survived by her husband – Jim L. Crass of Irma and two children – Jim A. (Kim) Crass of Irma & Mary Jo (Lee) Throm of Stevens Point. She is further survived by two grandchildren – Jamie & Jessica, two step grandchildren – Kyle & Abram, and one great granddaughter – Wren. Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents, brother – Spike Meyer, and two sisters – Delores Dotter & Ruth Irmischer.

The Memorial Mass for Lorraine Crass will take place at 11:00AM on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Fr. Louis Maram Reddy will officiate. Visitation will take place on Saturday from 9:00AM until the time of Mass at 11:00AM. Burial will take place privately in Calvary Cemetery.
