Obituary of Roger L Lane

Roger Lane, age 72, of Tomahawk, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care Hospice.

 

Roger was born on September 27, 1946 in Merrill to Elbridge & Barbara (Lapinski) Lane. He was married to Karen Anderson on January 2, 1970. Roger served with the US Army during Vietnam. He was a painter for 42 years with Van Eperen Painting in Appleton. He loved hunting and fishing. Roger enjoyed playing pool and horseshoes.  Roger built a cabin for his family to enjoy. He especially loved his time spent at the cabin with his grandkids teaching them how to run heavy equipment.

 

Roger is survived by his wife – Karen; son – Timothy (Michelle) Lane of Wausau; brother – Roman (Cindy) Lane of Tomahawk; 4 grandchildren – Trent (Megan) Ullman, Tyler (Hannah) Ullman, Tiah Lane & Terran Lane; and 2 great grandchildren - Corey & Ellie. Roger is preceded in death by his parents & his brother – Donald.

 

There will be a private family funeral with Military Rites for Roger Lane. He will be buried in Greenwood Cemetery in the spring.
