Obituary of Terry Dopkins

Terry Dopkins, age 69, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2007 at Golden Living Center-Golden Age in Tomahawk. Terry was born December 21, 2007 in Janesville to Henry and Sylvia Dopkins. He married Frances Vaughn in 1964 in Rockforn, Illinois. Terry was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving 2 years in Germany. He worked for many years in the Parks division for the City of Janesville, retiring in 1990 and moving to the Tomahawk area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bees, and working on his family's geneology. Survivors include: a Dear Friend - Cindy Ganske of Tripoli, one daughter - Sheila (Rob) Brown of Temple, TX, one sister - Carol (Randy) Walters of Janesville, six brothers - Russell Dopkins of Mesa, AZ, James (Dorothy) Dopkins of Janesville, Douglas Dopkins of Janesville, David (Lori) Dopkins of Reedsburg, Dennis (Sandy) Dopkins of Janesville, and Philip (Sally) Dopkins of Janesville. He is further survived by 2 grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, his wife - Frances, and one brother - Dale. Funeral Services for Terry Dopkins will be held at noon on April 30, 3007 from Krueger & Sons Funeral Home in Tomahawk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services at noon.
