Obituary of Ruth Koth

Ruth M. Koth, age 73, 810 E. King Rd., Tomahawk, passed away August 31, 2010 at her residence. Ruth was born December 3, 1936 in Deerbrook, the daughter of Emery and Marjorie (Washatko) McKinney. She married John Koth on October 8, 1955 in Tomahawk; he passed away August 21, 2008. Ruth was a realtor in Tomahawk for many years. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, playing bridge, trips to Florida, and spending time with her family - especially her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Survivors include: Sons Jeff (Julie) Koth Milwaukee Kip (Chris) Koth Tomahawk Daughters Karla (Ron) Kammer Tomahawk Laura (Ted) Theiler Wisconsin Dells Sister Caryol (George) DeBels Tomahawk Brother Robert (Anita) McKinney North Aurora, Illinois Brother in law Bob (Rose Marie) Koth Tomahawk Grandchildren Eric & Kayla Koth, Dylan & Jesse Koth, Austin & Colton Kammer, Kyle & Ryan Theiler, Nicole (Kyle) Lewis Ruth was preceded in death by her grandparents - grandma and grandpa Root Beer, parents, husband - John, and infant son - Lance, sister - Emily. A Mass of Christian Burial for Ruth Koth will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2010 from St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church in Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of Mass at 7:00 p.m. Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 3rd at Calvary Cemetery in Tomahawk.
