Obituary of Charles Kirinovic

Charles E. Kirinovic, Sr., age 92, N10004 Mohawksin Rd., Tomahawk, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff. Chuck was born, March 16, 1918 in Chicago, the son of Charles and Theresa (Hrncir) Kirinovic. He married Tillie Patrick on November 18, 1944 in Chicago. Chuck was an insurance agent in Burbank, Illinois for many years, retiring in 1980. Following his retirement, he and Tillie moved to Tomahawk, where he was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Chuck made and donated over 18,000 rosaries for charities and others in need. He enjoyed traveling, watching football, fishing, and especially enjoyed his sons and grandchildren. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Chuck was the devoted husband of Tillie Kirinovic Loving father of Charles (Terri) Kirinovic, Jr., Midlothian, Illinois and Edward (Chris) Kirinovic, Hazelhurst Dearest grandfather, Papa, great grandfather, and best friend of Becky (Mike) Zienty, Tom (Karla) Kirinovic, Courtney (Steven) Timmons, John Kirinovic, Brittney, Ericka, Gracie, and TJ. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister. A Mass of Christian Burial with Military Rites preceding for Charles Kirinovic, Sr., will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 from St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of Mass at 4:00 p.m.
