Edna Schreiber, age 93, formerly of Tomahawk, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Edna was born August 23, 1917 in Nebraska, the daughter of Merle and Amelia Harris. She married Clarence Schreiber on July 24, 1938 in Tomahawk; he passed away October 2, 1994. Edna was a homemaker, and was known for her canning, baking, and apple pies. She was a very active member of the United Methodist Church in Tomahawk. Survivors include: Son Dale (Joyce) Schreiber Wausau Granddaughters Kay (Erik) Olson Appleton Lori (James) Hoelter Wausau Edna is further survived by 4 great grandchildren - Aidan, Luke, Liam, and Benjamin, and a great grandchild due in February - Samuel. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, and a grandson - Robby Schreiber. Funeral Services for Edna Schreiber will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2010 from the United Methodist Church in Tomahawk. Rev. Rebecca Niese will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Tomahawk.
