Obituary of Evelyn Teschner

Evelyn Teschner, age 89, 215 W. Mohawk Dr., Apt. 126, Tomahawk, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2010 at ministry Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk. Evelyn was born November 7, 1921 in Cicero, Illinois, the daughter of Archie and Augusta (Nicoli) Foster. She married William Teschner on January 10, 1940 in Waukesha; he passed away in 1985. Evelyn was a summer resident of the Tomahawk area from 1954 - 1973, when she and William moved here permanently. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting, bingo, and cribbage. She also enjoyed playing triominos with Elaine Johnson. She was a member of Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Survivors include: Daughter Judy (Richard) Leipski Tomahawk Son Mark Teschner Medford, Oregon Sister Corrine Phipps Waukesha 2 grandchildren Jeni (Greg) Hinz Merrill Scott Leipski South Beloit, Illinois Evelyn is further survived by 2 great grandchildren - Jessica and Adam. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter - Su, and 2 brothers - William and Sidney Foster. A Memorial Service for Evelyn Teschner will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2010 from Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Rev. Mark Gass will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 1:00 p.m.
