Obituary of Gertrude Mussey

Gertrude R. Mussey, of 719 King Road, Tomahawk, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2011 at her home at the age of 93. Gert was born on June 22, 1917 in Tomahawk to Louis and Bertha (Brunke) Reinhold. She married George E. Mussey on April 23, 1960 also in Tomahawk, George passed away in 1996. Gert had been the office manager and x-ray technician at Dr. Henderson's office from 1937 until her retirement in 1987. She had been a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church. Survivors include: 2 Nieces, Judi (Jeff) Kahle Lynn (Bill) Mark both of Tomahawk She is further survived by 2 great nephews, Joshua and Jason Kahle. Gert was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother,Roy "Bronk" Reinhold, and a sister, Margaret Olson. Funeral Services for Gert Mussey will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from the Krueger Family Funeral Home. Deacon Darrell Smerz will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in the spring. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
