Obituary of Louis Hinterleitner

Louis E. Hinterleitner, age 95, formerly of Red Pine Road, Tomahawk, passed away Monday, February 21, 2011 at Golden Living Center - Golden Age in Tomahawk. Louis was born July 31, 1915 in Montello, the son of Frank and Augusta (Deiter) Hinterleitner. He was married to Grace Gallagher; she passed away in 1991. Louis was a papermaker with Owens-Illinois in Tomahawk for 37 years, retiring in 1980. He was a member and worked the CCC Camp in Townsend, Wisconsin. Louis enjoyed hunting, trapping, fishing, logging, and farming. He also enjoyed picking pinecones while walking, watching the deer and turkeys on his property, and tending his big garden. Survivors include: Sons Terry (Ruth) Hinterleitner Dennis (Sharon Schneider) Hinterleitner Frank (Nancy Korpi) Hinterleitner all of Tomahawk Louis is further survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife - Grace, son - LeRoy, and 2 sisters - Rose Beatty and Lillian Beatty. A Sharing of Memories for Louis Hinterleitner will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 25, 2011 from Krueger Family Funeral Home in Tomahawk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the spring at Calvary Cemetery in Tomahawk.
