Obituary of Otis Dotter

Otis H. Dotter, age 93, Tomahawk, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Golden Living Center - Golden Age in Tomahawk. Otis was born April 28, 1917 in Tomahawk, the son of Henry and Emma Dotter. He was united in marriage to Rose Krueger; she passed away in 1992. Otis moved to the Waukesha area in 1938, where he was employed with Highway Machinery and Dotter Crushing until his retirement in 1982. He and Rose then moved back to the Tomahawk area, where he worked as a logger. Otis was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in WWII. Survivors include: Son Larry Dotter Oconomowoc Grandchildren Lori Chipman Dousman Todd Dotter Tomahawk Kari Tetzlaf Dousman Otis is further survived by 7 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service for Otis Dotter will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 7, 2011 from Krueger Family Funeral Home in Tomahawk. Pastor Larry Mathein will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of services at 4:00 p.m.
