Obituary of Marguerite Redmond

Marguerite 'Marge' Redmond, age 76, formerly of Moodig Rd., Tomahawk, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Golden Living Center - Golden Age in Tomahawk. Marge was born September 30, 1934 in Tomahawk, the daughter of James and Elizabeth (Singer) Redmond. Marge attended the Beauty Culture College in Wausau, and began her career working for Adeline Holtz at the Hotel Building in Tomahawk. She later opened The Beauty Inn in Tomahawk, which she owned and operated for over 40 years. Marge enjoyed cooking, gardening, horses, trips to Branson, Missouri, and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Survivors include: Brothers Thomas Redmond Tomahawk Michael (Judy) Redmond Tomahawk Marge is further survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters, 1 brother, 2 infant sisters, and 1 infant brother. A Mass of Christian Burial for Marge Redmond will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 14, 2011 from St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. John Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the spring at Calvary Cemetery in Tomahawk.
