Dorothy L. Ewert, age 94, N9962 Deer Path Lane, Tomahawk, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Golden Living Center - Riverview in Tomahawk. Dorothy was born March 18, 1917 in Pittsville, the daughter of John and Ida (Wrege) Boldt. She married LeRoy Ewert on March 9, 1940 in Milwaukee, where they lived until moving to Sun City, Arizona in 1978. Dorothy had worked for Chicago Title and Insurance in Milwaukee for 27 years. They moved to Tomahawk 3 years ago to live with their son, Ron. She enjoyed bowling, Hawaiian dance, and doing needlework. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Sun City, Arizona. Survivors include: Husband LeRoy Ewert Tomahawk Son Ronald (Sharon) Ewert Tomahawk Dorothy is further survived by 2 grandsons, 3 step grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, and 1 brother. A Memorial Service for Dorothy Ewert will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 15, 2011 from Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Rev. Mark Gass will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m.
