Obituary of Kathleen Russ

Kathleen 'Kathy' Russ, age 63, a resident of Golden Living Center - Riverview, Tomahawk, passed away May 23, 2011 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Kathy was born October 6, 1947 in New York, the daughter of William and Ruth (Jennings) Little. She married Walter D. Russ on February 3, 1968 in Flint, Michigan; he died January 7, 2000. Kathy was a sales representative with Avon for many years. She lived in the Tomahawk area for the past 10 years, and was the "official greeter" at Golden Living Center - Riverview. Survivors include: Children Walter (Annie) Russ Birch Run, Michigan Julie Turner Flushing, Michigan Twin sons Terry and Jerry Russ Tucson, Arizona Michele (Terry)VanKeuren Grand Blanc, Michigan Sister Laurie (Swede) Jorgensen Tomahawk Brother William (Barb) Little Grand Blanc, Michigan Kathy is further survived by 6 grandchildren, and 1 great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 1 granddaughter-Joanna. Funeral Services for Kathy Russ will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 from Krueger Family Funeral Home in Tomahawk. Deacon Darrell Smerz will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services at 2:00 p.m. Another service will be held at the Hill Funeral Home in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc.
