Virginia 'Ginny' Ahles, age 84, 8571 Old Hwy. K, Harshaw, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at her home under home hospice care. Ginny was born November 9, 1926 in Tomahawk, the daughter of Louis and Gertrude (Splittstoezer) Crass. She married Otto Ahles on July 22, 1951 in Rhinelander; he passed away June 30, 2002. In her younger years, Ginny was employed at The Dime Store, and Nick & Sons Casket Factory in Tomahawk. She was also a good homemaker who lived for her family, and enjoyed making chocolate chip cookies. Survivors include: Daughter Nancy Ahles Las Vegas, Nevada Sons Lonny (Bev) Crass Rhinelander Mick (Tammy) Ahles Harshaw KC (Carol) Ahles Tomahawk Brothers James (Lorraine) Crass Tomahawk Roger (Marge) Crass West Bend Ginny is further survived by 4 grandchildren - Lon (Chris) Crass, Jr., Jackie Crass, Khloe & Klay Ahles, and 1 great grandchild - Jordan Crass. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant son - Brian, 2 sisters, and 1 brother. A Memorial Service for Virginia 'Ginny' Ahles will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2011 from Krueger Family Funeral Home in Tomahawk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services at 11:00 a.m.
