Obituary of Ervin Pflum

Ervin "Ernie" Pflum, age 69, of N11462 Tomahawk River Road, Tomahawk passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011 at his home. Ernie was born on January 17, 1942 in Tomahawk to Ervin and Florence (Venne) Pflum, Sr. He was married to Elizabeth Sorenson on February 17, 1973 in Oxford, Wisconsin. Ernie had worked as the head beaterman for Rhinelander Papers for 29 years, retiring in 1999. He had been a pitcher on the 1959 Tomahawk High School state qualifying baseball team. He enjoyed fishing, coin collecting, rummage sales, and working at the Bradley dump on Sunset Dr. Survivors include: Wife, Liz Mother, Florence Pflum Tomahawk Son, Jon Pflum Tomahawk Daughter, Staci Pflum Tomahawk Brother, Fran (Char) Pflum Tomahawk Sister, Mary (Raymond) George South Holland, IL Ernie is further survived by one Grandson, Clyde Jacobson. Memorial Services for Ernie Pflum will be held on Monday, July 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from the Krueger Family Funeral Home. Pastor Larry Mathein will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00.
