Obituary of Elaine Pierce

Elaine M. Pierce, age 94, of Tomahawk, passed away on May 15, 2023 surrounded by her family. Elaine was born on June 5, 1928 in Woodboro to Martin & Marjorie (Schrofe) Charbarneau. She was married to Donald E. Pierce. Elaine was a hard worker. She had worked at Nick & Sons Casket Factory, was a CNA at the hospital and was a home health aide. After work, she would come home and tend to her gardens. She had beautiful flower gardens, especially her roses. Elaine loved going out to stay with her daughter, Margie, in Washington State for the winters, and enjoyed living in Tomahawk for the summers. She cherished her time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Elaine is survived by her children – Margie Mitchell, Gwen Baker & Don (Marge) Pierce, all of Tomahawk. Elaine is further survived by 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, son – Edward “Butch” Pierce and grandson – Edward “Butch” Jr. The Memorial Service for Elaine Pierce will be planned for a later date.
