Please share a memory of Louise to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Louise “Honey” (Herman) Mott devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away May 5, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Louise was born January 16, 1933 in Tomahawk, Wisconsin to Louise (Reese) and Harry Herman. She married Leon “Bubby” Mott on August 9, 1952. She is proceeded in death by her husband of 50 + years who passed on July 9, 2003. She was a proud and supportive Air Force wife while raising their six children. She retired from El Dorado hospital and then spent much of her free time volunteering at Tucson Medical Center. She was a faithful member of Our Mother of Sorrow Catholic Church. She loved to read, play cards, traveling to visit family and friends and an occasional (lol) trip to the casino. Her sense of humor and wit were still present in her final days. As a devoted mother and grandmother, she enjoyed time at family dinners, grandchildren’s events, family reunions and was a great friend to many. She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, Dancing With the Stars and Hallmark movies. Those left to cherish her memory include her surviving children; Dennis Mott, Chandler, Az; Susan (Al) Ojeda, Debra (Hank) Osborne, Steven Mott, Tucson, Az; Tammy (Bill) Hendrix, Durango, Co; Kim (Jerry) Bartz, Tomahawk, Wi. She was lovingly known as “G-ram” to her 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her 7 brothers and 2 sisters. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, May 17th at Our Mother Of Sorrows Catholic Church in Tucson, Arizona. The family will receive friends at Brings Broadway Chapel in Tucson from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, May 16th. She was deeply loved by her family and will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to a charity dear to your heart in her memory. “YOU CAN SHED TEARS THAT SHE IS GONE AND YOU CAN SMILE BECAUSE SHE HAS LIVED.” Krueger Family Funeral is assisting the family locally.
