A friend, a mentor, an Uncle, and a second father to me. You made hard work fun and you always took time to fish or swim, or ride your horse. The suddenness of your passing is a shock, but I know that you have been preparing for this day for a long time. You are now reunited with Louise whom you have missed dearly. Cheryl and Angela have been waiting to see you again. My dad, your sister Connie and all of your family is happy to see you. Rest peacefully Leo, you have earned your heavenly reward. Nephew Frank.

Going up north to the farm to visit Louise and Leo, my memories include Leo driving the tractor to cut hay or bale it, milking cows in the barn, cutting wood or sitting in the shade near the wood pile praying his rosary. The last few years , I can remember him praying his rosary the most. Going up north now, there will be such a void without Louise & Leo. They will be greatly missed.

Writing a single memory of Leo is a difficult task for me... I have known Leo since my early teens.
Our relationship, like a tree on Mosch road, gained in strength and stature for over 62 years.
That being said; I could write chapters devoted to that friendship growing without regard to the time or the distance between us. We had different lives but we were alike.
I cannot put into words how tall Leo stood as man in my eyes. The depth of his character and the strength of his faith made him one of the greatest gifts that I have received in my life.
We shared a deep and honest respect for each other.
I loved him like a brother.
