Obituary of Cathy Kurth

Catherine Kurth, age 65, of Tomahawk, passed away on December 19, 2022 at Riverview Health Services in Tomahawk. She was born March 11, 1957 in Hawkins, Wisconsin to Gerald and Dorothy Kurth, Sr. Cathy had worked as a CNA for many years at Riverview Terrace Nursing Home. She loved feeding and watching birds. Her most joy came from her grandchildren and family. Cathy is survived by her children – Angie Weber, Jeff (Shannon) Weber and Jessica Pehlke all of Tomahawk. Nine Grandchildren (Lucas, Nicholas, Isaac, Olivia, Isabella, Kiahana, Ilijah, Isaiah, and Ruby); and two Great Grandchildren, Lydia and Lillian. Cathy is further survived by her siblings – Elizabeth (Dan) Wittman, Frances Sonnentag, Rose (Jim) Szmania, Mary (Chris) Jalinski, Barbara Kamrath, Cindy (Chris) King, Paul (Kathy) Kurth, Kenneth (Gina) Kurth and William Kurth and Joe (Vicki) Kurth. Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, two sons – Jason & Andrew Weber and two brothers – Daniel & Jerry Kurth. A Celebration of Cathy Kurths life will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 4 until 7 pm at Krueger Family Funeral Home. There will be no formal funeral service. Her cremains will be buried at Calvary Cemetery by her sons in the spring. Krueger Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
