Obituary of Lois Johnson-Langlois

Lois Johnson-Langlois, age 92, of Tomahawk, passed away at Aspirus Tomahawk Hospital on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.
Lois was born on December 12, 1929 in Chicago to Charles & Alma (Kuhlen) Kirkwood. She was married in 1951 to Melvin Johnson. Together, she and Melvin had three children. Lois and Melvin had a summer cabin on Lake Alice. In 1978, they made Tomahawk their permanent home. Melvin passed away in 1995. Lois was very involved with The Red Hats, Quilters and Grace Lutheran Church. Lois was later married to Norman Langlois.
Lois is survived by her children – Melvin Jr.(Kurt) of Lower Lake, CA, Nancy (Charles) Sikora of Circle Pines, MN and Keith (Diane) Johnson of Hoffman Estates, IL; three grandchildren - Jenna (Ryan) Nesbit, Derek & Kyle Johnson; 2 Great Grandchildren and Norm’s family - Michael, Lynda, Kay, Chuck, Bill, David & Elaine.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and husbands – Melvin & Norm.
Visitation for Lois will be from 9:00AM until 11:00AM on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Grace Lutheran Church. Funeral Service will take place following visitation at 11:00AM on Saturday, September 10, 2022. Burial will take place at Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines, Illinois.
