Ruth Ann Anderson, age 72, of Tomahawk, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 surrounded by her family. Ruth Ann was born in Tomahawk on March 23, 1950 to Theodore & Whilemina (Schoone) Amelse. She was the oldest of eight children. On August 29, 1970, she was married in Harrison to Kurt Krueger. Together, they had four children. He passed away tragically after a logging accident in 1990. Ruth Ann was married to Mike Johnson in 1992; he later passed away in 1997. Ruth Ann was an upholsterer. She made boat covers and could sew just about anything. Later in life, Ruth Ann was married to Cliff Anderson in Maplewood, MN on August 2, 2003. They spent their time traveling the United States with their camper. Ruth Ann and Cliff spent many years volunteering their talents in State Parks. Most of their time was spent volunteering in Florida but they also spent time in Alaska, Tennessee and Georgia. Through their travels, they have met so many amazing people and have seen many amazing things. Ruth Ann is survived by her husband – Cliff Anderson of Tomahawk; her children – Becky (Andy) Theiler of Tomahawk, Terri (Rich) Mickevicius of Rhinelander, Bobbi (Jason) Bartlett of Ballwin, Missouri and Matt (Andrea) Krueger of Rhinelander; Cliff’s children – Tori (Richard) Melton of Summerville, TN and Aaron (Jennifer) Anderson of Pine Grove, CA; and Mike’s daughter – Patti (Steve Geiger) LaFevre. She is further survived by eleven grandchildren – Dani Sue (Glenn) Koshak, Carl Theiler, Kylee Theiler, Max Bartlett, Owen Bartlett, Jake Mickevicius, Isaac Mickevicius, Rylee Mickevicius, Miller Melton, Mike (Grace) LaFevre and Olivia (Ryan Switon) LaFevre; one great-grandson – Barret LaFevre; her brothers and sisters – Chris (Dan) Towle, Mary (John) Kimball, Lucy (Jim) Berndt, Loretta (Dale) Wanta, Dick (Jeannie) Amelse, Bill (Bobbie) Amelse and Ed (Kelly) Amelse. Ruth Ann is preceded in death by her parents- Ted & Whil Amelse and her first husband – Kurt Krueger. The Funeral for Ruth Ann Anderson will take place at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Harrison. Visitation will take place at the Krueger Family Funeral Home on Friday, August 26 from 4:00PM until the time of prayer service at 7:00PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 10:00AM until the time of service at 11:00AM. Burial will immediately follow in St. Augustine Cemetery.
