Rod W. Flohr, 67, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at his home. Rod was born April 28, 1955 in Ladysmith, Wisconsin to Larry and Florence (Stoker) Flohr. Rod was a carpenter and general contractor in the Tomahawk area for many years. He had been employed at Johnson Brothers, Tomahawk Log and Country Homes, and was currently the owner and operator of Rod Flohr Construction. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and anything else that could be done outside. Rod loved his trips up to his hunting camp in Canada, especially when his friends and family joined him. Rod is survived by his five children - Jake (Nikki) Flohr of Tomahawk, Jenny (Matt) Robertson of West Bend, Laura (Troy) Strek of Ringle, Nate Flohr of Tomahawk and Rylie Flohr of Minneapolis. He is further survived by his mom - Flo; seven grandchildren - Cami, Abe, Nadia, Hailey, William, Jack, and Tucker; and four sisters - Bert Flohr, Brenda Holloway, Debbie Manninen, all of Tomahawk, and Kathy (Jeff) Hoover, Indiana. A Celebration of life for Rod Flohr will take place at Bootleggers Lodge on Saturday, August 6, 2022 starting at 4:00PM. Please come and enjoy music and time with friends, just like Rod loved.
