Don, I was so sorry to read about Mary’s passing. I have fond memories of you both during time you lived below us in Indian Cove.
I remember one time you had come upstairs for a quick visit. As you walked back down the stairs, our daughter Kelley was chanting, “Bye, Don.” She then turned to me and asked, “Do you know what Don is?” “What is Don, Kelley?” “It’s when the sun comes up in the morning.” “Oh, right, I said.” Then with her two-year-old’s reasoning, she continued, “And when the sun goes down at night, that’s Mary.”
I’m suspecting your sun has gone down, Don.
