Marlys Millette, age 73, of Tomahawk, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2022 at Friendly Village Nursing Home in Rhinelander. Marlys was born on October 17, 1948 in Grand Forks, North Dakota to Orville & Dorothy (Burton) Dybedahl. She was married to Rodney Millette in Colorado. He passed away in 2012. Marlys owned a dry cleaning business for over 20 years in Lake Geneva. Marlys and Rod purchased the Somo View Resort in Tomahawk in 2007 after their retirement from the dry cleaning business. She enjoyed playing cribbage, casino trips and loved golfing. Marlys will be remembered for her big heart and putting everyone else before herself. Marlys is survived by her nephew – Jeremy Manka of Tomahawk and two great nieces – Erica and Katelyn Manka. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband – Rodney, sister – Michelle Manka and nephew – Matthew Manka. A Celebration of Life for Marlys Millette will take place at 6:00PM at Krueger Family Funeral Home on Friday, March 18. Visitation will take place from 4:00PM until the time of service at 6:00PM.
