Obituary of Pete Haring

Peter D. Haring, age 68, of Tomahawk, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. Pete was born on September 26, 1953 in Tomahawk to John & Beth (Polar) Haring. Pete loved his job as a bartender. He enjoyed talking with the customers and meeting people at the many Nokomis establishments that he worked at. Pete enjoyed playing cards, shooting pool and throwing horseshoes. He was an avid Packer and Brewer fan and coached baseball in his younger years. Pete is survived by his brothers and sisters – John Jr of Tomahawk, Ruby (Kerry) Adams of Indiana, Cindy (Minerva) Haring of California, Jean (Micky) Whalen of Irma, Joyce (Tim) Prebeg of Tomahawk, Jenni (Scott) Welke of Tomahawk and John III of Stratford. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pete is preceded in death by his parents, step-mother – Maxine and sister – Ellen Hammersley. A Memorial Service for Pete Haring will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Krueger Family Funeral Home. Pastor John Miskimen will officiate. Pete's family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
