Obituary of Phyllis G Ouimette

Phyllis G. Ouimette, 93, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022 at Milestone Assisted Living under the care of Compassus Hospice. Phyllis was born September 25,1928 in Tomahawk to Henry and Agnes (Paszek) Feind. She was married to Jean P. Ouimette on June 4, 1947, he passed away in 2006. Phyllis worked as an LPN for many years in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. She later worked as an office manager in a chiropractic office. Phyllis and Jean enjoyed living in their retirement lake home in Hazelhurst and fishing in their red canoe. They traveled together, often to their favorite destination of Ireland. Phyllis was a member of St Mary’s Catholic Church. She is survived by a brother, Leonard “Jim” Feind of Washington and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Sandra Ouimette Shoji, and 7 siblings, Roger, Thor, and Milton “Joe” Feind, Priscilla Brown, Genedean Seslar, Shirley Fogg, and Marian Massa. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 11:00AM. Phyllis will be buried at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to St. Mary’s Catholic School.
