Mary Catherine Furman, age 95, of Tomahawk, WI, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 at Riverview Health Services.
Mary was born on March 25, 1926 to the late John & Mary (Cadigan) Furman of Montello, WI. Mary was a school teacher. She started her career in a one room rural school house and retired from St. Mary Catholic School.
Mary is survived by her brothers – John (Carol) Furman of Montello & S. Mark Furman of Ohio; sisters – Teresa (Fay) Gabriel of Illinois, Agnes (James) Abraham of Ripon & Patricia (James) Leidy of Washington. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, brother – Thomas Furman & sister – Bernice Nelson.
Graveside services for Mary Furman will take place privately at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Briggsville, WI.
