Joyce L. Dorava, 63, of Rhinelander, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at her home.
Joyce was born October 8, 1959 in Tomahawk to Clarence and Viola (Knighton) Johnson. She was married to Larry Dorava on June 7, 1975 in Merrill. Joyce grew up and attended Tomahawk Schools; she graduated from Northcentral Technical Collage with a degree in nursing. She as an Registered Nurse in various facilities in the area. She was an incredibly loving and generous person.
Surviving Joyce Dorava is her husband, Larry. Two children, Melanie Dorava of Rhinelander and Jason Dorava of Florida. Four siblings, Daniel Johnson, Donald Johnson, both of Tomahawk, Jimmy (Delores) Johnson, Merrill, and Darlene Raker of Ohio. Joyce is further survived by 3 grandchildren, Lucas, Kaitlynn, and Jacob. She was preceded in death by her parents.
