Obituary of Barbara L Augustine

Barbara Augustine age 88 of Tomahawk, passed away Nov. 11th 2021 at Tomahawk Health Service in Tomahawk. Barb was born Dec. 17th 1932 in Marathon County to Lee and Bessie (Swope) Gordon. She married Walter Augustine on June 30th 1951 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Wausau. He passed away in 2016. Walter and Barb lived for many years in Wausau. Following retirement they moved to the Tomahawk and Harshaw area. Together they raised five children Linda (Mike) Jarnagin, Ray (Rose) Augustine, Randy Augustine, Robin (Kay) Augustine, Russell (Ann) Augustine. Barb is further survived by a sister, Nancy Wolfe, and many grand and great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Walter, Sister Marjorie Hienrich, baby sister Joan, and a brother William Gordon. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Tomahawk Health Services for her care these many years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, November 18, 2021, 11:00 a.m. from St. Mary Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Fr. Louis Maram Reddy will officiate. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Marathon County. The Augustine family will receive friends at St. Mary Catholic Church Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass at 11:00 a.m. Krueger Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
