Sally J. Mott, 83, a lifelong Tomahawk resident, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Riverview Health Service. Sally was born November 22, 1937 in Tomahawk to Kenneth “Red” and Helen (Manthey) Hines. She married Jerry “Cappy” Mott on June 16th, 1956 also in Tomahawk. Cappy passed away in 1989. In her younger years Sally worked for the Telephone Company and later US Industries before starting at the Georgia Pacific mill in Tomahawk. She was employed there for almost 30 years. Sally lived in Payson, Arizona for 7 years before coming back to Tomahawk. Surviving Sally are her children, Jay (Lori) Mott of Tomahawk and Joy (Jeff) Sievert of St. Germain. A brother, Bill (Grace) Hines of Saxon Harbor. She is further survived by four grandchildren, Joelle (Jeff) Olson, Tana (Aaron) Evans, Molly Mott, and Samantha Schwartz, and four great grandchildren, Mason, Hudson, Stella, and Penelope. Sally is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jerry, a sister-in-law, Lois, and a brother in law, Leon. The life of Sally Mott will be celebrated privately by her family.
