Ida M. Brown, age 81, of Tomahawk, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 3, 2021 at her home. Ida was born on March 21, 1940 in Hazelhurst to Emil & Amy (Anderson) Zerbe. She married Benjamin Brown on December 10, 1960 in Tomahawk. Ida & Ben owned Brown’s amusement starting in 1959. She loved gardening and had a wonderful sense of humor. Ida was an amazing pool player. She was a strong, tough woman and had a heart of gold. Family was incredibly important to Ida. She was the backbone that kept everyone together and connected. Ida was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Ida is survived by her husband – Ben Brown of Tomahawk and five children – Steve (Kim) Brown, Lisa Ammerman, Kevin (Beth) Brown, Darwin (Nicole Smith) Brown and Lorna (Jeffrey) Fisher all of Tomahawk. She is further survived by 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Ida is preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings. The Memorial Service for Ida Brown will take place at 11:00AM on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Grace Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Visitation will take place from 9:00AM until the time of service at 11:00AM. Krueger Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
