Obituary of Jean M Zeitelhack

Jean M. Zeitlehack, 78, of W6339 County Road O, Tomahawk passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family under the care of Compassus Hospice. Jean and her twin sister, Jane, were born March 6, 1943 to William and Hazel (Lampi/Wickman) Hautala. She married Darrel Zeitelhack on October 3, 1964 in Tomahawk. In her early years Jean worked at Dr. Henderson’s Riverview Hospital as a nurse’s aid. She shared her quick wit and storytelling while serving as a bar tender at Mr. Ed’s, Kahn’s Bar, and RP’s Lounge. Jean enjoyed hunting, fishing, crossword & jigsaw puzzles, all card games but especially cribbage. She had the joy of two perfect hands through the years. Surviving Jean is her husband of almost 57 years, Darrel. Three children, Donna (Jim) Beiler of Rhinelander; Terry (David Kukuczka) Zeitelhack of Rib Mountain; and Warren (Suzanne) Zeitelhack of Washington. She is further survived by her twin sister, Jane Anderson of Tomahawk and a granddaughter, Hayley Lee. A private family graveside service for Jean Zeitelhack will be held in Greenwood Cemetery.
