I was a friend for many years with Bob at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago...and called him from time to time when he was in Wisconsin...and was very sad last time I called he was not there and had a horrible hunch. I was hoping perhaps he went to live with his brother, but have learned what happened. I am so sorry and wish to express my deepest condolences on the loss of Bob on this earthly plane. We had a lot of laughs together, especially with his friend Ann, and have a couple of his little paintings which I cherish...I even sat for him once in a class at the Palette & Chisel for my expressive hands! We used to play chess a lot at the Starbucks near Oak Street and of course HOW HE KNEW AND LOVED TRAINS! He was SO very talented and intelligent and old-fashioned. I would love to hear from the family, and may you know Bob's memory remains firm and fond with me...He was a good person and the world needs more, not less, of those.
