Barbara E. Hoover, age 88, of Tomahawk, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Country Terrace under the care of Ministry Hospice. Barb was born on September 19, 1932 to William & Edith (Noble) Henry in Logansport, IN. She was married to Ross Hoover on July 26, 1953 in Logansport, Indiana. Barb worked as a telephone operator and at Slayton’s Furniture Store. She also worked at Tomahawk Woolen Mills and cleaned cottages. Barb was a seamstress and enjoyed quilting. She attended many baseball games with her husband, Ross. Barb was a Brewer and Packer fan. She was a member of Berean Baptist Church. Barb is survived by her children – Kim (Tony) Mullozzi of Iron River, David (Helen) Hoover of Tomahawk and Dan (Bobbi) Hoover of Tomahawk, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings – Patricia Hinkle, Ruth Etherton, Paul Henry, Naomi (Carlson) Becker, Marty (Paul) Harrington and Richard Henry. Barb is preceded in death by her parents, husband – Ross and half-brother – George Mohler. Due to COVID-19, a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021, 11:00 a.m. in Memorial Park. Fellowship and lunch will follow. Pastor Charles Scheele will officiate. Krueger Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
