Obituary of Lois J Carew

Lois J. Carew, age 82, of Tomahawk, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Country Terrace. Lois was born on July 27, 1938 in Tomahawk to Parnell & Thelma (Bebeau) Paulson. She was married to Richard “Dick” Carew in 1958. Together, they lived in Alaska for 20 years. After Dick died unexpectedly, Lois moved back to Tomahawk. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Lois enjoyed playing bingo and trips to the casino. She cherished her time spent with family and friends. Lois is survived by her children – Leslie Dalbeck of Anchorage, AK, Linda (Gary) Briner of Tomahawk, Lori (Nick) Nicholas of Fayetteville, NC and Greg (Lynda) Carew of Oxford, FL. She is further survived by 13 beloved grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren with another on the way, 4 great great grandchildren, brother – Donny Paulson & two sisters-in-law – Ila Mae Paulson & Marion Paulson. Lois is preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son, grandson, two brothers – Keith & Roger Paulson and sister-in-law – Jeanne Rae Paulson. The Memorial Service will take place at 12:00PM on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at the Krueger Family Funeral Home. Pastor Susan Christian will officiate. Visitation will take place from 10:00AM until the time of service at 12:00PM. If you don't wish to attend the service, you may join the family on zoom. The details are listed below.
