Obituary of Sharon J Johnson

Sharon J. Johnson, formerly of Tomahawk, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 at her home in New Port Ritchie, Florida. Sharon was born in Tomahawk on December 22, 1954 to Lyle and Bea (Stewart) Copiskey. She attended Tomahawk schools and graduated from Tomahawk High School in 1974. On August 30, 1975 Sharon married Steve Johnson here in Tomahawk. In 1975 they moved to Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin and in 1995 came back to Tomahawk for a few years before retiring to Florida in 2011. She had been a CNA for 30 years, had worked in retail for a time, and did team over the road trucking with her husband, Steve. Her most precious times were spent with family, especially her grandchildren. Sharon is survived by her husband, Steve of New Port Ritchie, FL; three sons, Eric (Eleanor) Johnson of San Diego, CA; Telly Johnson of Holliday, FL; and Robin (Jeanette) Johnson of Riverview, FL. She is further survived by 7 grandchildren and her sister, Sally (Larry) Engleman of Rhinelander, and many nieces and nephews. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Lyle and Bea Copiskey, a brother, Harry, and a sister, Mary Kay. A graveside service for Sharon Johnson will be held in the summer of 2021 in Tomahawk.
