Betty Hulce, age 86, formerly of Tomahawk, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Emerald Shores Assisted Living in Kewaunee. Betty was born on February 14, 1934 in Tomahawk to Gordon & Clara (Hoffman) Westbrook. She married Darwin Hulce on July 3, 1951 in Tomahawk. Betty had cooked at restaurants around the Tomahawk area, was the housekeeper at Bootleggers for many years and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Betty is survived by her son – Mark (June) Hulce of Kewaunee; Daughters – Kathy (Tony) D’Angelo of New Glarus, Sharon (Jay) Wiedenfeld of Lake Mills, Sally Johnson of Menomonie and Linda Westbrook of Mount Horeb. She is further survived by 7 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren; and 1 brother – Carl Westbrook of Tomahawk. Betty is preceded in death by her husband – Darwin Hulce, daughter – Brenda Wanless; siblings – Gordon Westbrook, Howard Westbrook, Imogene Norlander, Jean Zachariase, Mary Dumpprope and Irene Westbrook. Betty Hulce will be buried in the Prairie Rapids Cemetery in the town of Nokomis. A private committal service will take place.
