So sorry to hear of the loss of Whil. She was just a joyous person when I knew her from bowling back in the years and often meeting up with her @ Walmart while I was there to pick up drugs for my husband while he underwent his chemo. She was always smiling and when asked when we'd see her back at bowling ... she always said "she wished she could". My condolences to the entire family.

To the Amelse Family:
We are so very sorry not to be able to attend the services but wanted to take a moment to let each of your know you are in our prayers. It is an understatement to say that Whil was a very special women and I will always remember her wonderful smile and the sincerity of her joy each and every time she got to see all of our kid's for the infamous "Dad's Weekend" Memories of her sitting in a lawn chair next to Theo with a big smile on her face watching all of the kids run around the grounds at the hunting shack will always be etched in my mind. Considering who was in charge, if she was ever nervous she never showed it!
The MacDonald family was beyond blessed to cross paths with Whil and we will forever be thankful for having had the opportunity to know her.
I am sure you will recognize the attached photo and God Bless you all...

Our deepest sympathy to the entire family. Whil was a wonderful lady and a bright spot on God's earth. She will be missed very much. Whil made our visits to Country Terrace so enjoyable, and she was such a kind and beautiful friend to her "neighbors" there. My parents (Martin and Judy VanderSanden) also loved visiting with her, and she made my mom's transition to assisted living a very enjoyable one. Her bright smile will always be remembered.

Oh how I loved Whil, she will be missed by me and all the other residents at Country Terrace, she and also Ted were always at any activity I had, She was so looking forward to our Christmas decorating and the "fireplace" I always set up. No one can ever replace the spot in my heart she holds. My thoughts and prayers to each and every family member. Looking to the day we will all meet again, RIP Whil, and give Ted a hug for me too. To all of my Amelse cousins, I am so sad to hear of your mom's passing. She was a wonderful woman, always friendly and with a good word for everyone. She lived a long and gracious life and may she now be received in heaven by Fr. Ray, Nettie, Ted, and all of those who will love to see her again. May she rest in peace.
