Obituary of Truman A Snyder

Truman A. Snyder, 86, of W6325 W. Kraft Road, Tomahawk, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at his home. Truman was born January 3, 1934 in Edgerton, Wisconsin to Arthur and Agnes (Wentler) Snyder. He married the love of his life Marline A Karls on December 19, 1953 in Madison. She passed away in 2016. Truman was a veteran of the US Army and the Army National Guard. He worked as a welder for a dairy equipment firm in Madison and also did some farming. He moved to Tomahawk in 1973 and was employed by Northland Stainless and Daigle Brothers. Truman was a Brewer and Packer fan. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and golfer. Survivors include his daughter, Lynn Snyder; a granddaughter, Joellyn Stewart, both of Stoughton, Wisconsin. A Sister, Toots Homburg of Cottage Grove, WI; and a brother, Winston Snyder of Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a son, Paul, and one sister. In light of the Covid 19 pandemic, Truman’s family will receive friends outside at his home, W6325 W. Kraft Road in Tomahawk on Saturday, August 29th from 1:00 pm until 3:00pm. A Military service will be conducted at 3:00 pm. Krueger Funeral and Cremation Services is assisting the family.
