Obituary of Robert Hoppe

Robert H. Hoppe, age 88, formerly of Tomahawk, passed away peacefully in Sacramento, California on August 3, 2020. Bob was born on November 20, 1931 in Ashland, Wisconsin to Ervin & Inez (Davis) Hoppe. He graduated from Tomahawk High School. After graduation, Bob entered into the US Navy. He served our country for four years. When Bob was honorably discharged from the Navy he moved back to Tomahawk. He worked for many years at Harley Davidson. In retirement, Bob lived in Florida. In Bob’s later years, he married Florence (Todin) Harthun. Bob is survived by his niece – Diane McConnell, his great niece – Kathy Edwards and great great nephew - Blake Edwards, all of Sacramento, CA; along with seven step children; many grandchildren & great grandchildren. Bob will be especially missed by his 20/20. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife and brothers – Lyle Rydeske, Ken Hoppe & Don Hoppe. Bob will be buried privately with Military Honors in Greenwood Cemetery, in Tomahawk. Krueger Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
