Gene, Rudy, Dawn
We were saddened by the news of the passing of your Father. I remember he knew the names of all the kids who came into the restaurant for a coke or fries. Your Dad gave my Mother his recipe for pie crusts and she passed it on to Joanie. so every time she makes a pie I have a little smile thinking of both of them.

Bob is a true handyman, servant, jack-of-all-trades, person of deep, lived faith, true gentleman and one of the kindest most thoughtful people I have ever met. He has been a huge gift in Claudia and my lives and surely for me in my time at Grace. I am so glad I made sure to say good-bye to Bob in person on my last day in Tomahawk. What a joy that was!
Now we pray both comfort and celebration for all of you and all of Tomahawk. Comfort in the unfortunate reality of this time in being unable to gather and hug and share stories of Bob. Celebration in that there are so many treasured stories and experiences with and by Bob.
This is surely a passing of an era, a legend, a role model, and an amazing family, couple and life well lived.

I’m heartbroken. I loved & respected Bob so much. So many memories with my parents at LaNous Restaurant and then through the years working at the school district during the time that Bob was the Food Service Director. A fun memory was how Bob made THE BEST Banana Cream & Lemon Meringue pies for all the office staff for HIS birthday! I’m sure Dottie welcomed him in Heaven with open arms and a kiss! Our love & sympathy to Gene, Rudy, Dawn and family. ❤️

So sorry for your loss. Bob was one of the good ones. I remember when he worked at the school. He had this old small wooden swivel chair that he used at his small desk. I stole it one time to put in my deer stand because it swivel. He was so mad someone stole his chair. He blamed all the cooks and everyone else he thought might have taken it. I don't think he ever knew I did it. rest in peace.

One of the finest and kindest men I have ever met. Always a smile, a kind word and a caring question. From my childhood hunting shack, through years of bowling and many, many poker games, Bob was always the classiest gentleman in the room. I very much enjoyed every single conversation we ever had. My deepest condolences to the entire family.
