Obituary of Vickie L Krahn

Vickie L. Krahn, age 62, of Tomahawk, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. Vickie was born on March 4, 1958 in Chippewa Falls. She was raised in Tomahawk to Al & Bernice (Smalley) Potaczek. She was later married to Howard Krahn. Vickie loved shooting pool and watching Nascar, especially Matt Kenseth. Her love for racing started very young when her father helped build the Tomahawk race track. Vickie loved being with her family. She enjoyed family gatherings and watching the kids swim in the pool. Vickie is survived by her daughter – Heather (Jeff) DuPlayee of Tomahawk; grandchildren – Chasity (Norb) Conrad, Colton (Amanda Shepherd) Chase, Megan (Samantha Lindberg) Franson, Logan Franson, Jennifer DuPlayee, Tiffany DuPlayee & Caleb Duplayee; and great grandchildren – Jayden Chase, Jennavecia Chase & Noah Conrad. She is further survived by 3 brothers – Brian, Peter & Donny Potaczek and 6 sisters – Diane Wirth, Darlene (Ken) Bosinski, Dawn “Ducky” (Dave) Fish, Nettie Potaczek, Bev Zietlow & Pam Potaczek. Vickie is preceded in death by her parents, husband - Howie, brother – Bernie and sisters – Delores & Doreen. At this time, a memorial celebration will be planned for a later date.
