There are no words that can express how sorry I am for your loss. I started working at Tomahawk Health Services (the place she spent the last years of her life) over a year ago, and from the very first day of Dorothy and I meeting we instanty became very close. I've never worked in LTC before and she made a very big impression on me every single day I worked and got to see her. She would tell me so many stories about her past, while we sat and did her nails. We would also philosofize while watching out the main window about things like life, children, women's rights, and being a good human being. I can honestly say she made the biggest impact on my life, and I will always be extremely grateful that I got to be in her company, the good days and the bad. She was such an amazing women. She is going to be missed very much. I can honestly say I know I made her happy the last year I was blessed to be in her life. She would always say to me, "we like to have fun, don't we." Sometimes things do work out the way life intends and I truly feel like our paths crossed for a very good reason. I can say with full honesty, my life is better for meeting her. I have many stories about Ms. Dorothy. She had very good theories about life, and what makes a good person.
I loved Dorothy with all my heart and I will miss her every day ❤
