Obituary of Cathy Wicklund

Cathy Wicklund, age 89, of Tomahawk passed away at her home on Monday, April 22, 2019.

Cathy was born on February 8, 1930 in Illinois to Walter and Marie (Hennegan) Wicklund. Cathy was born with a cognitive disability and she lived in various group homes around the area. Even though she was nonverbal, she was loved by those who knew her. She attended Kind Hearted Home Care for a number of years, and was known for playing Connect Four.

Cathy is survived by her great nephew – Thomas Wicklund & her long time care giver – Jodie Shirmer.

The Funeral Service for Cathy Wicklund will take place at 11:00AM on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Krueger Family Funeral Home. Deacon Dave Bablick will officiate. Visitation will take place on Thursday from 10:00AM until the time of service at 11:00AM. Cathy will be buried in St. Boniface Cemetery in Chicago, IL.
