Obituary of Art Scholz

Arthur W. Scholz, age 61, of Tomahawk, passed away after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.

Art was born on October 15, 1957 in Tomahawk to Joseph Sr. & Anna (Steinman) Scholz. He was married to Terry Kleinfeldt on October 6, 1979; together they had three children. Art worked at Harley Davidson for 25 years. He enjoyed being in the woods, logging and farming, hunting and fishing. Art loved spending his time in his garage or with his kids and grandkids. He was a member of Northwoods Vineyard Church.

Art is survived by his wife – Terry Scholz of Tomahawk; 3 children – Christina (Todd) Copiskey, Jenny (Matt) Derleth & Eric Scholz, all of Tomahawk; He is further survived by 4 grandchildren – Caden, Alison, Avery & Emmett; his siblings – Cecila Weber, Bernie (Geri) Scholz, Fred (Peggy) Scholz, Paul (Gail) Scholz, Jerry (Ruth) Scholz, Annie (Leroy) Wilhelms, Terry Mohr, Mary Lou (Alan) Dean, Joseph Scholz and David (Shari) Scholz. Art is preceded in death by his parents and his sisters – Darlene, JoAnn & Bertie.

The Funeral Service for Art Scholz will take a place 11:00AM on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at the Northwoods Vineyard Church in Tomahawk. Pastor Nate Nelson will officiate. Visitation will take place at the church from 9:00AM until the time of service at 11:00AM. Burial will take place at Spirit Falls Cemetery in the spring.
