Obituary of Jean M Bishop

Jean M. Bishop, 63, of N8818 Flynn Road, Tomahawk, passed away Friday, June 22, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rhinelander.

Jean was born April 27, 1955 in Appleton, Wisconsin to Eugene and Arlynne (Londo) Hillsberg. Jean’s parents both passed when she was young and she was raised by her dear aunt Yvonne Bonick. Jean was married to Alan Bishop on August 12, 2006 in Tomahawk. She grew up in the Menomonee Falls area and graduated from Menomonee Falls East High School. Jean moved to the Tomahawk area in 1976 and had worked as a Real Estate Agent and served as president of the Lincoln County Board of Realtors. She later was a co-owner of the Sportsland Pub, worked at the Tomahawk Post Office, and Harley Davidson. Jean enjoyed gardening, golfing, cooking, concerts, and casino trips with Marga and Ingrid. She was also an avid Brewer and Packer fan. Jean was an amazing Mom of 3 boys and delighted in spending time with them and her grandchildren.

Survivors include: Husband, Al Bishop. Three Sons, Jeff (Jillian) Schulz of Rhinelander,               Justin (Heather Easton) Schulz of Tomahawk, and Jason (Ann Johnson) Schulz also of            Tomahawk. Two Step Daughters, Brooke (Justin) Moulton of Charlotte, SC, and                       Meredith Bishop of New York City. Two Brothers, Paul Hillsberg of St. Louis  and                      Daniel Hillsberg of Oshkosh. One Sister, Cherry Hillsberg of Madison.

Jean is further survived by 5 grandchildren, Jacob, Josiah, Jessa, Jameson, and Lillian. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Michael, and her aunt Yvonne Bonick.

A celebration of Jean’s life will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Krueger Family Funeral Home.
