Obituary of Dale E Strebig
Dale E. Strebig, 84, of 27 S. 7th Street, Tomahawk, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Pine Crest Nursing Home in Merrill.
Dale was born June 25, 1933 in Medford to Henry and Mabel (Boetcher) Strebig. Dale was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean War. He was employed at Old Dutch Potatoe Chip Factory in Minneapolis from 1969 to 1979, he then worked at Tomahawk Tissue until 1990. Dale then worked at Tomahawk City Hall until his retirement in 1995. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion Posts in Tomahawk. In his free time he enjoyed grouse hunting, fishing, gardening, puzzles, and playing cribbage.

Dale is further survived by 2 grandchildren, Maeghan and Matthew Strebig. He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty and a brother, Roy.
Funeral Services for Dale Strebig will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from the Krueger Family Funeral Home. Chaplain Gary Froseth will officiate. Burial with Military rites will follow at Prairie Rapids Cemetery in the town of Nokomis. The family will receive friends at the Krueger Family Funeral Home Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
