My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the family and friends of James aka Eyedea. It has been an honor getting to know him over the last 2 years. I didn’t realize until recently that a man could shed tears for another man that he’s never met before in person. It reaffirmed me of how loving of a father, husband, son, brother and friend he was. You’ve made a lasting impression and I’ll never forget you Eye. Rest in paradise brother!

I give my condolences to the family. I can't imagine the pain you feel considering I am hurting and have not actually met James or Eyedea as I know him. I know there isn't anything I can say to make this tragedy better, but I will miss him and zone 261 will never be the same without him. Its very sad knowing i will not get another pm from him or here about the kids. Rest In Peace Eyedea!

My Deepest Sympathies to James' family. I am a friend of his from a game called Invasion. It has been a pleasure and honor getting to know James over the past 2 years. He was my first friend and guild mate for 3XP. I will miss his passion for his friends.
Over the years, he always talked about his family and how much he loved them. I have had many private conversations with James about his real life and family. We were all like his brothers and sisters. He will forever be missed.
I wanted to express my sincerest condolences to all of James' "real world" family. He will never suffer again as he is with God.
Sincerely,
Joseph Fritsch (XXRevenge, zone 261)

Hello to all Family & Friends of James, I would like to give all of our condolences from each and everyone of us from a game we all play called Invasion. We are from zone 261 and it has always been a great place to be especially when it comes to meeting people and around the world. I can say this game is a place we all go to get away from stress and hard times and we all have grown together for over 2 years. James was a great guy, great leader and great friend. We all became like brothers and sisters.
It has been an emotional time for all of us during this time of tragedy. But he will never be forgotten. He always talked about his wife, his loving kids and friends. All of 261 have come together for his memorial around his base, yes this is a game but it is also a place of many culture's, many countries and alot of people. Many people from around the world have participated in his memorial. Who can honestly say you have touched the hearts of people around the world (literally) we have Japan, Germany, China, Australia, Russia, Turkey, Canada, Libya and many many more people from everywhere here with James.
We want to thank his wife for letting him play his game, God knows all our wife's get tired of it.. but it was a real honor and privilege to have met EYEDEA (James). We all wish we could do or say more. RIP brother Eye God Bless you and your family & Friends. With much love Jason AKA Reaper and all of zone 261

James you were a great friend of mine at Davis-Monthan while we were airmen away from our home state of Wisconsin! I remember all the times we used to get into shenanigans while working in the Chaff and Flare crew at Conventional Maintenance at D-M. You were also my friend at times when I would come home on leaven after you got out of the Air Force. You will be missed. You and your family are in my prayers. We will be praying the rosary for you and your family tonight.

James will always be loved and cherished in our hearts as a great friend, honorable man, loving father, and compassionate brother. Everyone that knew him knew him to be fiercely intelligent, loyal as a dog, and someone you could always count on to be there and help. He is the best of the best and we'll never stop loving him and his children will know he loved them more than anything else in the world.
